A lighter media workflow

Make a growing library easier to manage.

Reduce media weight

Create optimized assets for delivery. The result depends on your source files, formats, and quality settings.

Work through the backlog

Use bulk optimization for existing media and automatic processing as new content arrives.

See where things stand

Review library status and per-file results so you can spot what needs another look.

Visible progress, practical controls

From a crowded library to a clearer picture.

Find your next action without opening every attachment.

  • Check overall savings and individual file results.
  • Find pending, optimized, or failed items.
  • Adjust quality settings and reprocess individual files.

Smaller downloads do not necessarily mean less storage used. Original files remain available alongside optimized versions.

Included in the free plugin

Optimize on your server

For getting started with the hosting resources you already have.

  • Local image and video optimization
  • Automatic and bulk processing
  • WebP and AVIF where supported
  • Supported GIF and HEIC/HEIF handling
  • File status, savings, and controls

Local formats depend on GD/Imagick and installed encoders. Video requires FFmpeg; HEIC/HEIF needs compatible decoding support.

Give your hosting some breathing room

Let Flux handle the demanding conversions.

A big media backlog should not have to compete with everything else your site is doing.

Cloud processing moves heavy jobs to Flux infrastructure. CDN delivery helps serve media to visitors across locations. Enable these optional services when they fit your site and your selected plan.

Part of a bigger toolkit

Better media is just the beginning.

Your active Flux Suite license includes all premium features across the suite—not just media tools. New Flux plugins and premium features are included as they launch, within your plan’s usage allowances.

Built for WordPress media

Fits the way you already publish.

Use it with Gutenberg content, responsive galleries, and WooCommerce product media. Check your actual pages after optimization, especially where a theme or builder uses custom media output.

Processing stays local by default. Cloud processing and CDN are opt-in services; enabling them sends media and related metadata to Flux.

Good to know

Before your first optimization.

Is the local plugin really free?

Yes. Local optimization does not require a subscription or per-image credits. Your server’s processing resources and supported formats still determine what it can do.

Will my original files be removed?

Originals are preserved. Optimization focuses on what visitors download; it does not automatically free space in your uploads directory.

Will it work with my existing library?

Yes. Start with a small batch and review the output on your pages before running a larger bulk job.

Do I need cloud processing?

No. It is optional. Consider it when local processing puts too much load on your host or your server lacks the capabilities you need.

Will this guarantee a PageSpeed or SEO improvement?

No fixed score, ranking, or conversion increase is guaranteed. Measure your own pages before and after; media is only one part of overall site performance.

Are premium services unlimited?

Use the selected Flux Suite plan’s feature list for cloud processing, CDN delivery, storage, and other allowances. Free local processing and premium service quotas are separate.

Where can I check technical requirements?

See the WordPress.org listing for current requirements and the support forum for plugin help.
